I've just resigned from National University Hospital (NUH) on the 12th of September.
So what's next in store for me?
Back to my comfort zone, I'll be working as a Pharmacy Assistant at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). I wouldn't say I'm excited at the prospect but it will give me financial security over the next couple of years until I decide whether or not to pursue a degree.
I have 2 options; to take up a part-time degree or follow my brother to the UK and brave the endless road of hell to get that prized piece of paper. On an uneventful note, maybe I won't even be pursuing a degree at all.
For now, I'm happy just to take one step at a time.
Dear heart, you've done enough damage over the last 5 years. Please do not attempt to fall for anyone else. Thank youLabels: #degree, #job

THE WEEK OF MEET UPS
Tuesday 3 September 2013
One of the weeks in August was a fabulous week as I had arranged meet ups with friends I haven't met in a relatively long time.
It started off with my ESN buddies on the 19th August. I was really looking forward to meeting them because our meet up was 2 years overdued! I was excited to meet Amy more than the rest because I ran into the others in camp occasionally during my NS days. Other than dinner, it was all pure conversations but it was as if we have not separated since our ESN days! We still had the same level of nonsense in us!
The end of work on Friday means we all have the weekends to look forward to. All the more so when you have arranged a meeting with long lost friends! My poly friends planned a meet up on 23rd August to catch up on individual events we have missed along the way. This was especially so for Zhi Liang and Nathan, who fell off our radar since graduation prior to the meet up. In truth, their presence didn't make much of a difference to me. I merely wanted to meet Phenol (or what was 2/3 of them) and Jacinda. =X
I attended Fariza's annual open house the very next day. It was a chance for me to meet her since TP graduation day and at the same time, other poly friends whom I used to mix around with back during our TP days.
