April started with the commencement of National Service Transition Training (NSTT). Surprisingly, my combat fitness is questionable but I enjoy the outfield life more than I do the office.
The highlight of NSTT would be more of a negative experience instead of a positive one. It was rather thrilling to be evacuated to the medical centre, partly because it was my first time. I had sprained my back after jumping off a 5-tonner and landed rather awkwardly and had no further participation in the activity of the day, which was Section Live Firing.
I secured the IPPT gold and marksman in the last 2 weeks, earning me an extra $300 (not inclusive of the $100 I was awarded after attaining the IPPT Silver 8 months ago)! =)
Well, now that NSTT is over, I'm looking forward to the ORD Function and SPCA Fun Run on the 3rd and 11th of May respectively. The latter will be my first 5km event in 6 years! I'm aiming to break my personal 5km record of 21:42 minutes clocked all the way back in 2007.
