BEHIND THAT FACADE

Friday 28 August 2009

Exams are over! I can rest my mind at last.

I put together an elite rescue squad for my exams, comprising of Qi Yun, Denise and Marianne. They saved my sem 2.1!

It was my first time eating at Popeyes last Monday. Qi Yun introduced it to me after we mugged for FPath. There will always be first times with her, just like my first trip to IKEA.

Today was MBBS (Malay Boys of Biomedical Science) outing. After prayers, we made a trip to TM Timezone. The atmosphere was CRAZY. With our hyped-up behaviours and ear-piercing laughters, we sure attracted people's attention. We then had a monotonous game of soccer before breaking fast.

I have a few exciting convos to share in the next few posts. TIL NEXT TIME!

I stabbed myself with a knife.

Monday 10 August 2009

This will be the first time that i had missed the National Day Parade. While everyone was celebrating National Day, Soky, Qiqi, Cliffo boy, 1.5l girl and me had different ideas. We went for dinner and slacked at a playground shortly after. Not that it felt any different. Frankly, i'm not patriotic!

Saturday 8 August 2009

That's the reason why. When we're young, we fall in love. (Xian Feng, 2009). Love is beautiful? Well, as human beings, we tend to be oblivious to the surroundings. What we focus on is love. What we ignore are those surrounding love; despair, disappointment and hurt.

Love itself is a trap. Fall in love and we're falling into a trap. Trap falls into two categories: Trapped in heaven & Trapped in hell. What is meant by "trapped in heaven" is what we all know as "in a relationship". It's when we're trapped within the boundaries of love and do not want to escape. Most of us, however, are "trapped in hell". It is when our love is not reciprocated but we just can't let go!

The majority of us won't be trapped forever. When we fall out of the "trap in heaven", it's what we all know as a break up. We'll be down to earth, where everything starts from scratch AGAIN. And if we escape the "trap in hell", we will still feel the heat of being burnt. That is the aftermath, the part where we feel that love sucks and we don't feel like falling in love anymore.

Looking at it, there's one word which pushed us into the trap. The word HOPE. Then again, it's impossible not to hope.

So the question is, "HOPING, IS IT GOOD OR BAD?"

WELCOME TO REALITY!

Thursday 6 August 2009

Hello again! Sorry for the emo posts lately.

It's 2 days late but i would like to wish my dearest wife, Yolanda, a HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY once again!

With all assignments done for the year, half the burden was taken away. To make it sweeter, there will be no more tutorials or labs any longer for this semester. This is a piece of good news (Marianne and June will agree)!

There is only PLM presentation left awaiting.

Is it better to be close or just watching from a distance?

Sunday 2 August 2009

Unbelievable! I survived a week with 2 project submissions, with CSAS to complete by next week, and 2 quizzes! When i thought things couldn't get any worse, i lost a library book which may cost me up to $30 last Friday.

FPath and OC2 quizzes (2) are knocking on my door! Is it game over? I can't afford to break down. TIME TO FOCUS!

3.3, 3.4 & 3.5! 3 topics to go! BYE!
