Month of October thus far...

8th October
POP day! 6th company marched proudly in the watchful eyes of our parents, marking the end of our Basic Military Training.

10th October
Joined a few of my platoon mates and Sergeant Reza to a game of soccer at the Kallang cage, followed by L4D2 at Khakabo.

15th October
Went for dinner with Amanda and Yeo Xin Yi at NEX. It was my first time there and it was indeed a convenient place.

17th-21st October
It was the start of my course in Sergeant Cadet School (SCS) at Pasir Laba Camp. I managed to get the IPPT gold yet again and was the solitary gold in my platoon.

22nd October
Went for lunch with Jacinda at Parkway Parade, after which, she followed me shopping.

And finally, it's October, the month I've been waiting for. POP is in 1 week but with rehearsals in the way, there's still quite a bit left to go through.

Achievements for the past week had been incredible. First, I was accepted to the Military Police vocation, meaning I have a relatively high chance of getting into the Military Police after Sergeant Cadet School (SCS). Second, being the last runner in the chain of command relay, I managed to cross the finishing line first. The feeling was something I've never experienced before. With more than 200 people shouting my name, it was just an amazing feeling. That contributed to 6th company winning the games day. Lastly, 6th company capped off a fine week by winning the drills competition, against all odds.

Just 4 months in and the feeling of graduation comes back to me all over again. Though not as emotionally attached as I was to my poly friends, it's still goodbye; something I wish I won't have to say in my life. We went through the good times and HELL together. Thank you 6th Company Platoon 3 03/11.
