BEHIND THAT FACADE
Just came back from OLTC (Orientation Leader Training Camp) yesterday. Once again, i will try my best to make it short and sweet.
1st day
Registered at 9. I was in FALTIS, LT for Biomedical Science/Pharmaceutical Science. A bad start for me and Solana as we received a forfeit just an hour into the camp. In the day, we played ice-breaker games and at night, we were made to construct our own maze.
2nd day
Woke up at 10 for breakfast before the commencement of AR simulation. During the water games, Amjad and I had planned to "bathe together", which was surprising to others as the rest were trying their best to avoid being wet-ed. At night, once again, we constructed our maze. I was happy to be selected as Orientation Leader (OL).
3rd day
Woke up for breakfast at 8. We played 3 rounds of Final Clash, which MAROCK won overall. After dinner, we were taught the Mass Dance steps before proceeding with our maze.. AGAIN.
4th day
My morning was spoilt by Wallace giving me a dressing down. No one knew i was feeling unwell the night before with the exception of QiYun and YuLin. I tried my best to help with the maze, but my little work was viewed as "slacking". I was a little disappointed with Erin, Alfred and Nadiah. I forced the enthusiasm out of me for the rest of the day. We played Scrub The Deck before breaking camp.
I can't fight this feeling any longer
And yet i'm still afraid to let it flow
What started out as friendship had grown stronger
I only wish i had the strength to let it show

I just came back from A8G4 chalet early this morning. To my relief, this chalet wasn't boring.. at least not as boring as the last one.
Lets not go into details shall i, or ppl will start falling asleep. Booked in in the afternoon, start bbq-ing in the evening before playing water bomb shortly after. 8 of us caught a midnight movie, Race To Witch Mountain, which wasn't too bad. QiYun decided to bbq AGAIN later at 2 am. Aft the early morning bbq, while the rest played games, QiYun and i accompanied JiaJie to the beach. We came back to the chalet an hour later to find the others playing Once Upon A Time. The 3 of us had a different idea, so we went to sleep.
Phew. That was a 10 times dilution of the A8G4 chalet.

At the end of the bbq, few of us ended up at the same mac where i celebrated my 18th birthday with my 5A peeps. Totally coincidental! Wayne, Cliff and I had to endure the "pain" of camwhoring. Here are some of those pictures.

I'm glad that i found a friend who can laugh and cry together with me, someone who show concern for me. This friend is none other than the person stated above. Welcome to the club for 18s QiYun. I'm leaving soon.

We were classmates back in primary 5 and friends since then. I still remembered squabbling with her all day long, like we had nothing better to do back then. Just when i thought that was the end of her, we entered the same secondary school! We spent 5 yrs in BNSS before entering TP.
Guess what? Now she's my classmate! Such chemistry. No wonder we're in science. HAHA. This will be our 9th year together. AND IF SHE'S IN THE SAME CLASS AS I AM NEXT SEM, I WILL BE TOTALLY SPEECHLESS. But it had been a good 8 yrs. I'm so glad i had her as a friend.
No matter what happens ShuYi, you'll always be my childhood friend. Stay happy always!
And today marks 1 year since 5A last gathered.

LC play rehearsals is 3-4 days a week! It's tiring me out! With a few other friends joining recently, it don't seem too bad.

Instead of saying "we're going to die, quick run", he said "we're going to run, quick die".
I'm thinking of joining dragonboat with QiYun. I just hope the boat moves when i paddle. Hehe.
Candy is unfair! She says i'm to blame for everything that happens to her. =(. HAHA.

We were halfway through our script when Firdaus felt a vibration, which saw the both of us jumping as it was the results. QiYun and I got ours 20 mins after everyone, which made us restless during that period of time.
I was told by QiYun that the smiley faces were 'C's, so i wasn't that disappointed at first. I found out that the smiley faces were actually 'D's later on.
My actual result- 2 D, 2 D+, 1 C, 1 C+ and 1 B+, a gpa of 1.8. I did improve, just not good enough. The only consolation is that i don't have to take the supp paper.
Conversation with Nadiah
Nadiah: Syai, i'm so sad.
ME: Why?
Nadiah: I got C+ for CSAS.
Nadiah: And i got 1 B.
ME: It's okay what! The rest?
Nadiah: 3 'A's and 2 'Z's ONLY.
ME: HUH? ONLY?!?! -_-".
That's soo Nadiah, a perfectionist.

Lunched out at Simpang Bedok yesterday with 5 others, not including ShuHan who came over for just a minute to say hi before going skating. -_-". Isalina decided to go to COURTS over at Tampines Mall, where WeiQiang, XianFeng and me stared at a Plasma TV to watch soccer while the girls look around. Then, QiYun decided to L4D. Being gentlemen, the three of us just cannot deny her that chance. Well, making others happy involves sacrifice. I was really left for dead after playing! It was the first time i LAN-ed with a girl!

We were halfway through our script when Firdaus felt a vibration, which saw the both of us jumping as it was the results. QiYun and I got ours 20 mins after everyone, which made us restless during that period of time.

Lunched out at Simpang Bedok yesterday with 5 others, not including ShuHan who came over for just a minute to say hi before going skating. -_-".
