BEHIND THAT FACADE

With ORD at my doorstep, I'm beginning to have mixed feelings about leaving the army; happy because I'm finally leaving the lousy organisation, sad because I'll be parting ways with my NS friends and anxious for my future. Part of me wants to rest for 1 to 2 months after I ORD, a deserved break after the 2 years, while the other part wants to get a job immediately.

That aside, I finally passed my TP after 5 months on the 30th of April! Going to and from BBDC 2-3 times a week, it tires me out but I pushed myself to complete the course before I ORD. I was forced to take the last lesson on many occasions due to the busy schedule in camp during the day and often reached back to camp past 12am as the lessons ended late. There were times when I missed the last bus and had to walk all the way back to camp! I'm really just glad my efforts paid off and I took every opportunity to drive my dad's car since the day I passed.

I met Qi Yun last Saturday at Singapore Expo for a Book Fair event organised by god knows who. But I must say, I was totally satisfied with the fair as I paid only $54 for 10 books. Even though it was a short hour or so with her, she still never failed to entertain me with her retardedness at times. Heh.

I went for SPCA Fun Run with Hui Xiang (chinese name used on purpose =P) at MacRitchie Reservoir today. It was a 5km run, or 1km run and 4km walk in our case, all because of the poor planning of the event. There wasn't any place to put our belongings so we had to run with it! What she and I first brushed off as a joke turned out to be real -.-.

Considering how close we are, these were only our 2nd, 3rd and 4th pictures tgt, surprisingly lesser than the rest of Phenol. TIL NEXT TIME! =D
